Service Description

Modern Taiji is “movement meditation.” Researched and proven to provide: Stress relief Blood pressure reduction Improved sleep quality Improved balance Improve flexibility Increase strength Increased mental focus/awareness ...and much more. Taiji is not a learning event where you keep learning more moves and/or forms. It is a “horizontal AND vertical” learning event that lasts a lifetime! Classes focus on introducing students to non-traditional Flow style, as well as the Yang style 24 form (which is the standardized short form). We also focus on bringing key principles and concepts to our practice to encourage a deeper understand of the movements and Taiji itself. Learning Taiji in a group environment can feel supportive and dynamic! Classes can be purchased as one-time introductions, or as a series over the course of 4, 6, or 8 weeks. Taiji group classes are $15.00/person with a minimum of 4 and maximum of 15 (unless done off-site where a larger number of students can be accommodated).
